Coastal Ear Care is committed to protecting your privacy when dealing with your personal information. This privacy notice  aims to give you information on how Coastal Ear Care collects, uses and holds your data.

Coastal Ear Care will collect data from you via telephone calls, online bookings, emails, consent form, face to face during a consultation or from your feedback. Coastal Ear Care might also collect data from a family member or someone acting on your behalf.

In order to provide you with the very best care Coastal Ear Care will ask for your name, date of birth, email address and phone number. Coastal Ear Care might also collect information about your GP, ear symptoms, medical history, current medications and allergies.

Your paper records and electronic records will be securely stored and only accessed by Coastal Ear Care. In line with government guidelines Coastal Ear Care will retain your records for seven years. They will then be reviewed and destroyed if no serious incident has occurred.

Coastal Ear Care will only share your information with your consent where there is a clinical need i.e. referral to your G.P. Coastal Ear Care will not share any of your personal or health information with third parties unless there are circumstances such as when the health and safety of others is at risk or where current legislation permits or requires.

Coastal Ear Care might use your personal information to send you marketing by post, by phone, through social media or by email.

Coastal Ear Care can only use your personal information to send you marketing material if we have your permission. If you no longer wish to receive this let us know.
